Aussie made leather Jacket?

    Hope someone can help. i want to buy a new leather jacket, want it made to measure in Australia. any idea's?

    Not sure if they will customise but been around for ever. My dad had one when in his twenties (now late 60's). I now have one after his finally perished about 15 yrs ago. traditionally made brando style.

    Good quality, heavy zips. well lined.

     had one too m8, but today i looked at a new one Aussie company, made in some other country. i'm trying to support made in Australia. almost bought a Jackson leather Jacket aussie company made in Pakistan. and can't Find DBT leathers he has made me custom fit in past & i tested one out at over 160kmp on my back ( speed was checked in speed traps ) the jacket saved my skin! i liked the Jackson Jacket but not where they have them made.

    hope someone can help i'll go anywhere in Australia if i have too.

    http://www.waldenmiller.com.au/ South Aust company made my race leathers fitted like a second skin can put armour in as well if you need

    Mars Leather in Elizabeth St. Took my 24 year old jacket in to get a new press stud, done then and there and no cost. Same blokes have been there for 25 years that I know of....

    Damn good solid jackets, weigh a tonne and are crash proof !

    Got my jacket, gloves and vest off them about 30 years ago and I still recommend them. I made the trip down there for my son a few weeks ago. After all these years they still have the same great service and they are really fussy about correct fit, and their leather is like thick Buffalo hide yet comfortable.
    Made in Australia too at their own small factory.
    It is a family business and the original owner was an Italian Tailor. Since his death his son runs it now. They know Bike gear.
     
    They are easy to find. They are on the corner, smack in the middle of all the Bike shops in Elizabeth St.

    Thanks to everyone for there help.

    Well after talking to a guy i drag race in Screamin eagle harleys with, he suggested me having my old made to measure jacket repaired. i got that made by Doug from DBT leathers Yagoona Sydney. well over a year ago Doug Retired, found out he made a set of race leathers for a mate that races Top Fuel Harley then that was it.

    well today i went to Barry Sheene Memorial Festival of Speed @ ECR Syd and took my old Jacket got it fixed ( great job real happy ) only cost $20. 7 he put me onto a leather care product from england. it sure cleaned up the old jacket nicely. then i dug up a 30 year old vest that seemed rock hard. the leather care got that looking ok, then found an old brando jacket i got in 1975 from Scooter Omodelli in Sydney near central 9 long gone ) it cleaned that up but the bugger had srunk. lol here is a link to the guy who repaired my jacket.

     hi john, after i spoke to you @ the track to-day i did find  Graeme  Crosby & i rode my Z1R 1000 MK1 over where he was pitted & he signed the fairing  right above the right hand side handlebar where the riders have the names , but on the paint work not on the screen,  looks  great  i,am  very happy , did you have a good day out there , i heard that there was 10 Destroyers  @ the drags as well  joe took a picture of them all in a row ,  1 of them won the modified dragbike  class  as well
