Hi all...I thought i should mention that 2 of my mates in different instances have had there bikes defected for noise pollution in the Newcastle area.Both guys have to send there bikes to be EPA tested within a certain time period .Seems like the cops are doing some kind of blitz....

 They may be under the impression that defecting bikes for being marginally over the noise limit is the only way they are going to catch Malcolme Naden.

yea i live in newy they got me a while back. they were set up for breath testing but they were going over hotted up cars too,you would think there would be more important crimes to worry about

Try living up here around Singleton I think every highway patrol car in NSW is hanging out up here hiding in back streets and behind trees its bullshit I get nervous each time I go for a run up here.

Highway Patrol what a joke I thought they where ment to be out patroling the highways keeping us safe all they really are is a mobile revenue raiser for the Goverment.                                                                                                                                                                                                              We went to Newcastle on sunday morning to see family and at 8am here is a Highway patrol officer hiding behind a telegraph pole just past McDonalds singo radar gun in hand and had his purple highway patrol hidden down a side street I couldn't help but just laugh at him as we went past because he looked so stupid hiding behind a pole more worried about someone doing 53kph in a 50kph zone and what happened to them having to wear a high vis vest when there out of the car I surppose that don't work to well when your hiding.

Ahh I feel better now but the things ive seen around here NSW HIGHWAY PATROL YOUR A JOKE

I was done in Newy last week. Also done in Singleton last year by a certain HWY Patrol officer that wont be mentioned. Also Kings Cross and the F3 so my tally is 4 now.

I currently have the new Screamin Eagle slip-ons fitted and they are quiet. Couldn't plead with the copper though because he was hellbent on getting me. He fined me on the spot $147 "non standard equipment fitted" Makes me wonder what i'm supposed to do if my standard fit equipment is damaged or unservicable?? Buy a new bike?????

Took the pipes for a sound test and they passed with absolutelty no mods at all. So I will request a review of the fine but it's hard to beat 'the man' isn't it.

Got a set of 2011 Standard street bob pipes in Newcastle if needed

Hi all...Ive got some Fatboy low 2011 pipes,In the Newcastle area.

I took my S&S pipe off and put on my Screaming eagle pipes on,Bike is nice and quiet with a substantial loss of power.LOL...BTW my SE pipes have the DB rating and the Cat all stamped on the pipes,So Cops shouldnt really be able to book me.

Talking to my mate the otherday,He said they took a photograph of his bike with the pipes in full view.The EPA guy sends the photo to the cops for their database.

The bastards got me & 4 other mates in Mansfield a few weeks ago just got our notices in the mail today

they got me coming back into canberra on my way back from the yass dice run back in Jan. copper was a real smartass kunt too. V&H slipons, borrowed my mates standard pipes to get back on the road, only my first time in 13 years of riding harleys but sounds like its going to be getting harder.
