Does anyone know when the law about changing your helmet comes in?

 

I just bought a new helmet and the date stamp 2010' 4 this means this thing is already 2 years old.

+1 yep thats all I could find on 3 govt sites recommends 3-5 years

the laws in each state vary. there is no blanket standard across Oz. some states use 1 system, others are different.the motorcycle lobby groups are trying to get a federal system going, but the govt "experts" cantdecide which system to use.

Not in yet but the following items are under review I suggest everyone join the MRAQ (motorcycle riders association queensland) and show support to stop these becoming law.

1. there looking at a 4 year expiry date on helmets

I joined to fight to stay free and not to be told what to wear and I can not have a beer on a Sunday ride with the lads.
