    G'day all,

In my challenge to install new apes etc by myself, it seems I have scratched the rocker cover.

Would anyone have any suggestions on how to fix, or at least tidy it up? Damn cross over pipe. ended up with fuel all over me as well hahahahahahaha.

Its been a while since I have worked on a bike myself, and although very challenging, it kills time so easy, as I get wrapt up in it all.

Time seems to fly past. Learning quite a bit as well, and I am not even half way I think.

    See pic below.

    Cheers

Dremel with a buffing wheel on it. Or take it off and take it into a metal polishers and they will fix it up. Maybe wet and dry with brasso or something similar.

True mate, I was going to leave them there like a scar, but it seems I have some days to kill while waiting for a brake line, so thought I'd do something constructive.
Can't ride the prick, so may as well tidy it up.

AJ's on the money. Use some fine wet/dry first to take out most of the scratch's.
Then polish the fuck out of it with a Dremel using a buff and cutting paste first then polish paste.

Then polish the other one to match !

You could always ring them first to make sure, not all branches/states may stock all the same brands, anyway it's fantastic stuff
