I am changing my upper brake line to Braided and a bit longer to suit apes.

I have 2011 FXST (with ABS), and I am replacing the upper brake line only.

I have part 41800060 which seems to be the same for ABS and non ABS.

I cannot figure out where it connects. It does not look like the hose un screws at the point where the rubber cover is???

Or am I way off the mark. Sorry if its a dumb question, but I have been trying to figure out why I am not seeing whats going on.

The top end of the braided line has the banjo fitting, the bottom of the line just has a female thread.

Any help would be appreciated.
