Thought I'd post a couple of links to youtube for the "Powerhouse Blues Band" from Gippsland Vic performing at the Junee NSW CAN-assist Poker Run and Blues Night. This charity event is for cancer sufferers and their families and was a great success with around 260 bikes doing the run, followed by  the Blues night.

I rode to this event to not only support the charity, but to support my 16 year old son who plays in the band. He's "the youngest player in the oldest Blues band in Victoria" and a mad keen Bluesman.

Best listened to on quality speakers or earbuds, as the audio recording was done using high quality condenser mics in the ZOOM camera. Next time I'll have the tripod with me so sorry about t he shakes...

Thanks for your comments Herne. All critiques are welcome from members as my son is looking for feedback to improve his skills, as he really want to have a go in the music industry. I'm biased as his father but I think he has good skills which can only improve.

Oz, He's been composing for a year working with a lyricist who has a great voice and can write but can't compose-- my boy composes and plays as a duet with her.

His real love is Delta and Chicago Blues and his knowledge of the 'old Bluesmen' and their style from years gone by is pretty impressive.

I really do appreciate your tips on stage presence and style, etc. and I will discuss these with him. It's really easy to overlook that when your too close to it. Also I wished I would have had a bigger SD card in the Zoom cam, as it ran out of headroom very quickly and that's about all I could get. It ran out on his best song-- a slow blues number-- about 2 minutes early or I would have posted it instead of one of the others.
