I would like to know the pro/cons of 90 degrees SE HD Breather Vs SE or KN HD Breather with stanard cover plate? as I'm looking at changing out the standard filter.

    G'day to theking,

Not 100% sure but logic tells me that the 90 degree unit places the air cleaner into the wind & should presurise the incoming air hence acting a bit like a supercharger & allowing for a greater fuel charge with theoretically more power. Maybe some other tech head can add somthing.

Good luck with your choice anyway.

Is there anymore leg room with the 90 degree unit regarding straighting out the leg without knocking your knee as I do on the standard unit??

Prob less leg room, but I haven't found it uncomfortable on a 08 Rocker. When it pisses down heavy rain, the bike burps and farts (with the sock on) and carries on, doesn't like the rain. But that is really heavy downpours. In drizzley shit okay. More air than a stocka, the filter is all exposed and facing the wind direction.

They're bloody expensive ,but bloody good & probably give the most legroon -s&s tuned twin pod air cleaner-heaps more clearance than a 90 degree one -there is a pic of my set up in the softail section.

    Cheers Wayco
