Hi all,

Have finaly bit the bullet and got my self a brand new Fatboy 103, I have been riding my Honda Valkyrie for the last 15 years and it was time for a change.

I must say the HD feels totaly different to all my previous rides (all Jap bikes) except for the Valk, the HD feels more powerfull down low but lacks a bit of top end compared to the Valk, but I love the sound of the HD, and you also know that it is running when you are sitting at the lights.

So far I have fitted the V&H 3" slash slip ons, but getting a bit of popping so I have ordered a fuelpak from V&H and a K&N air filter, hopefully will see a bit more power and less pop.

The other thing I found is a slight front end wobble at around 80kmh, so taking it back to the dealer to get it looked at.

Plan to be an active member of this forum as I have been with other bikes and might meet some of you on the road.
