We have recently found that SWMBO has a cracked tail bone, this has been from a fall many years ago. Now I have the Sundowner seat on my FXDF, but it seems even this seat is giving her some discomfort. we did 140k ride the other day (Townsville to Ayr and back), after a couple of sharp dips in the road on the way to Ayr (about 10k's out of Ayr,due to road works), the wife asked if we could turn around and head back because her tail bone was getting sore and she was starting to get very uncomfortable. So it's looking like her long ride days are about to come to an end if we can't find some sort of seat fix. Been looking at something along the lines of a inflatable device that could be inserted into the seat as she requires a donut cushion while sitting for periods at the computer. Now in saying this we have tried the Airhawk ( Thanks to a friend of ours), but this wasn't to the wifes liking. I would like to keep the Sundowner as it is a great seat. I have been thinking about going to an upholsterer to see what we can do if anything about the problem. I would like to know if anyone has had simular problems and what they did to fix other than kick her off (wich is not an option). And who in the upholstery game would you trust with your seat with this sort of issue. I have no problem sending the seat where ever interstate. Any info greatly appreciated.
