Thank's for the history lesson Steve, it brought back memories of when I was a teenager in the 60's, cruising Chapel Lane in the Cross with mates to look at the hooker's, then go down to Harry's for a pie and peas...I must go to the Powerhouse Museum and look at the old caravan again...cheers

Sounds like it was a good run with great weather. 

When you guys n' girls finally arrived, it was nice to meet some of the other forum members.

What a day for a great ride & it was good to meet the Newcastle crowd & also meet some of the new guys from the Sydney side. It was also good to se the better halfs along for the day as well. 

 What a fabulous day!!  many thanks to Steamer and Rick. Whilst it took awile to get to the pies the meandering ride through the Hunter Valley was excellent.  

Great to meet some new guys with their very individual machines and of course renew friendships.  Now for a couple of scotchs 

Guys I had a great ride today. It was a struggle to keep up with Sturgis and Solo (doing laser warp speed LOL) but a pleasure to catch up with everyone.
Good weather, enjoyable ride, top destination and great company. I too thought it was fantastic to see so many girls along.

Great ride, loosing my contact lenses on the way up made it interesting, once we hit warp 5 through the twisties I think they delaminated off my eyeballs.

Bike is well and truly up for service now, and I'm wearing a fullface helmet next time...

Great meeting all those that I did, and cant wait for the next one!

 

It was a great day no doubt. Enjoyed the ride very much, great company. It's been a long time since i've had the bike out. Mutha and i look forward to the next opportunity.
