Test Ride - Night Rod

    Hey everyone,

    very hard to find dealers that have night rod's (2012) to test ride.  Does anyone know of any in Melbourne or any other ways to get a test ride?

    Wouldn't the nightrod be the same to ride as the standard vrod (apart from colour and cosmetics)?

    I'm with Rab, Bomber and watto... never rode one, i did sit on a couple to check the feel.
    Surely you can get a test ride, push 'em fckn hard for a ride.
    You WON'T regret it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Agreed, they have the looks, the go hard, they brake and handle well.

    Same here bought without riding just loved the look.Was going to sell mine recently and get a cruiser as I hadnt ridden the Rod for a while cos of a license issue.Went for a run on it the other day..Fell in love with nmy NRS all over again and not for sale now. I had forgotten just how good a ride it is and just quick it goes

     test rode a night rod special on saturday and hoped off and brought it! Bloody awesome but i was going to buy if i couldnt try anyway they look great and they ride way better than i thought even the wifey was telling me to buy!

     Cheers! Now i have the hard part of waiting till september! That is going to suck but i have already started to look and buy parts already so ispending before i have it. haha

    Sweet, love my Night Rod Special, was riding a Ducati 1098s, when I saw a Night Rod Special just fell in love with it so rode home that week went and traded my Duke for my new baby NRS, awesome love it......

    i did a similar thing.... saw my nrs in the showroom sat on it bam put a deposit down..... picked it up week later.... still didnt even have a license haha

    Pick my New NRS next week in Perth and havnt even seen it yet all even ridden one

    I never bother test riding/driving. It'll always be 'different' to what you're used to and will take a bit of 'getting to know' the vehicle. If you like the look....you'll learn to like the ride (just my outlook). I'd never seen a muscle....or any Vrod variant for that matter....except for pic's online....but those pic's were enough for me.
