I only use one when I am travelling and they are all ok as long as you don't buy shit. I find that at home they only attract moisture when you leave them on for days at a time.

I use a rjays lined cover at home - $59.95 I think. I've had it for years now, however the new versions look different (bright silver rather than my dull grey) so I don't know if they are as good, or not.

I've been using a silver/grey Kel Pro cover for a few years. It's OK for traveling or when I'm making dust in the garage, but if I leave the bike covered for a day or so I find I get a thin film of something almost greasy on the bike. I wonder if it's the vinyl haze you get on the inside of car windshields. Don't know, but now I just leave the bike uncovered in the garage. That way, each time I go into the garage I get to ogle the bike a bit more. Good for the soul.

For trips it's really useful, because I can leave the bike unattended overnight without people easily seeing what type of bike it is. That's my theory anyway. I got the large size cover that will go over my pack and screen.

I Got a cover with the bike. Gotta say, I've never used it. The bike is rarely out of action long enough to justify unfolding it.

Lol, I would never have expected such a "ghetto fix mentality" from a bunch of guys when protecting such a valuable investment.

Used to use a double bed fitted sheet for day use in the car park at work. With 30+ deg every day, as in 355 days a year, the UV will kill the duco, leather etc. As I said "used to use" as one day I knocked off work and when I removed the sheet it had a very big hole burnt in it. Now I used to make sure the sheet didn't touch any hot bits but some how that day I nearly lost the lot. Needless to say I chucked the sheet!!

I have a full cover  that came with the "riders essential kit" I bought, but it is a large full cover, not heat proof, so can only be used when the bike is cool. Used once!

    http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/gma_product.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441849465&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374309149379&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=2534374309149379&bmUID=1219053988803&bmLocale=en_US

The other one is a half cover. Covermax half cover. Silver. Not heat proof either. Its not too bad as I only want it to give the bike shade. Basically hooks under the front guard, over the handlebars, tank and seat and hooks under the rear guard.

    http://www.motogearoutlet.com/misc.htm

It has straps that hold the cover in place at the front and the rear straps I hook together and rest over the seat to keep it off the hot bits. So far so good.

Just can't seem to find a genuine heat proof cover . It's not too much to ask. Mustn't be a market for 'em.

Used to have a Rjays cover for the last bike. I use 2 bed sheets now, bike is in a shed anyway. I think the cotton sheets breathe better, also the floor has a carpet square for the bike to sit on, helps reduce upward moisture.
