Does anyone know if there is any importers in Perth that will bring in a bike from the US and do the compliance plates changes. I know there's a few companies in Brisbane and Victoria that offer that service however I don't want to pay the extra  $700 to $1000 shipping to Perth.

Not sure on that one,you will pay the the extra freight some where along the track to get it in to W.A.Shop around.

Supposedly one in the making. Been going for 18 months(ish). Thier first bike has "been passed" by the gumbinment apparently.

As soon as I know more i will post it up , hopefully soon.

Mate of mine had his ex-US bike come thru' Adelaide, and then he rode it across the Nullarbor,

But he still woulda rather brought it straight to Perth . Who wouldn't ??

The so far unnamed company is Supercycles in Osborne park

They are advertising , Quote . " for all your imported bike compliancing needs " unquote

They were on a buying spree locally for complete stock exhaust systems for twin cams 2007 and up ALL MODELS , I wonder why haha...

And they are going to "price match" the Qld and SA compliancing mobs ! Exact words to me !!

They already ship new "Choppers" in containers direct to Perth from LA so there should be no dramas in pipelining "regular" Harleys.

So there you have it folks , direct to sunny Perth Western Australia

Spoke directly to Supercycles' "main man" last week and it's still a "work in progress" apparently ??

Kinda didn't say what the delay was really , just that he was "raging" himself as to why it was taking soooo long.

Sorry if I got anyone's hopes up in previous posts.
