The first one, yes, you are correct. It was a tough decision at first, however I am very happy with my final decision. I believe the second one is on the water now heading over.

I will post some videos of this dyno in operation when I get the chance..... ( yeah right ) it has to been either used or seen to be believed.

    Stay tuned... pardon the punn

Please feel free to post up some Dyno sheets.
Good to see your happy to use any/all of the EFI tuners around, (and tune Carb's !)

I will put some up. Annoyingly, there is no jpeg or save as option other than in DP format. ALT/PrintScreen will do it but it is annoying. ( so yes, there is one thing I dont like )

It is truly really very hard to comprehend after all these years of tuning carbs ( well I thought in my mind ) by riding the bike/s to have a dyno and to be able to see what is REALLY going on with every single change or mod.

EFI really is brilliant, and the DELPHI system is just amazing to work with. If only I could get my hands on EFI tuning solutions like SEPST/TTS/DELPHI for the rest of the bikes....... drool.

We work on just about anything  ( read - just about, not anything ) but I really enjoy Harleys. I was about to buy one after the longest stint of my life without a bike ( marriage, kids, mortgage, small bsuiness - no I am not that young just veeery slow to settle down   )  but I sat down and thought about what I was going to do to my new Fatbob and a dyno was a far more sensible idea from a business point of view, for now.....

The problem I am having so far is that its almost endless, in that you can just keep going and going in making improvements. It is very hard to draw the line and say OK, thats very good we will stop there when you know there is more to be had... somewhere in the curve. I guess I will get faster at extracting the results but really good results do take time, regardless IMHO. Time will help here as we will wind up with more base maps that are closer & it will take less time to tune a bike, so we can then fine tune even more......

I was keen to see ( and a bit apprehensive ) just how all these bikes were that I had been tuning with a laptop and quite glad to discover just how much more could be had. WOT gains easy sure but its all the smaller throttle openings & acceleration thats lurking in there just waiting to be had that the customer really feels, as soon as they leave the shop. Its just what its all about.

Am I over the moon and having a great time? YES. For me, this dyno is a dream come true, and I can now prove what I am doing, or not doing in some cases! I just have to remember to actually make some money & stay in business rather than lock myself away ignoring the phone and people at the door!

Enough dribble from me for now....

Dom, it's good to see someone that's obviously passionate about their work.
I'm sure the long hours will pay off !
We need more Harley engine builders/Tuners down under.
