somedays i can start bike and speedo wont work,stop down the road switch her off restart works fine,anyone got any ideas on what to start looking for. 07 dyna wide glide. cheers  BRUSH 

I had the same problem on my nightster, my problem ended up being water in the connectors under the tank, pulled them out and dryed them all good.

I had a similar problem with my 01 FXD, the regulator was the culprit.

 

My speedo problem included the indicators. It was a loose connection in the loom - check all.

 

Would you have a thundermax tuner on the bike.

thanks guys ill start looking. no HOGBAG i run a screaming eagle pro race tuner.

The Tmax had problems with the speedo dropping out.

 I had that problem, went through all connections and fuses and put electrical grease on them, sorted.
