I've never understood why certain road users are singled out in campaigns like this. We all use the roads so we should all pay a FAIR SHARE of the costs. Some would say trucks make the biggest impact (wear & tear) and should therefore pay a greater premium. Motorcycles affect the roads to a minimum so they should pay far less.
I disgree. Without the trucks the country would grind to a stop, so let's not penalise these fellas as they are a NECESSITY. Motorcycles are a viable alternative for commuters and if you f*ckin' cagers would PAY ATTENTION they'd also be a safe alternative.
The roads are there to be used and all users should share EQUALLY the cost. IMHO an exception to the equal rego cost would be bicycles, but even they should pay a rego.

I imagine Queensland will still pay less for their rego's even with the rise when compared with NSW. Also isnt QLD subsidised by NSW goverment with certain things.
Does QLD pay a levy which is about 18% calculated for the price of rego for people who are hurt in road accidents. This equates to $120.00 on top of rego for any motor vehicle which is a scam, in the begining it was suppose to be $20 for every driver but look what has happened now. I don't see any of this rego money going back into the roads, NSW is the most populated state, so rego should be cheaper, also NSW has the worst roads in the country.
The whole system fucking sucks if you ask me, motorcycles don't damage the roads, also they don't take up space when parking like cars.
