Does the thunder max unit come with the cable that links the computer n the bike or do i have to buy a lead seperate? thought i read in here somewhere that u have to buy one

Although keep in mind if all you have are USB ports on your pc/laptop you may need an additional serial to USB cable as the Thundermax cable only connects to serial ports.

have no idea what a serrial port is n if my computer has one but will ck it out

Save yourself some time and phone the IT shop first! The Serial to USB adapter is not so common and costs about $40 AND you need to install the software from the disc supplied. It's not too hard............but thenI haven't tested it yet!!
