Had the ecu light come on and then unable to engage cruise control. After restarting the bike the ecu went out and was able to use cruise control BUT IT WOULD NOT DISENGAGE BY USING THE BRAKE, front or rear!!. Six hour of warranty labour found that a diode behind the side cover had not been correctly plugged in at the factory causing there to be no brake lights and therefore no signal to the cruise control to disengage. If you have a cruise control issue get the dealer to check this diode.

Shit, that sounds like a big law suite waiting to happen! Hate cruise control! Glad it ended well.
