I've got an issue with my 2011 FatBoy Lo at about 80kph it has a slight wobble through the handle bars when I lift my hands just above the bars. When I raised the issue of the wobble with the dealer and how I checked it they said they don't condone riding no hands. So the question is should there be a wobble (I don't think so ) what would be the cause and what would be the fix.Any advice would be appreciated.

    cheers Rick

Check your back wheel balance. I had the same problem.

Hi all...rix181,Ive got a 2011 fatboy low as well,It does the same thing.Mine does it at a lower speed though.Im pretty sure its a wheel balance issue. When i put new tyres on ill make sure the wheels are ballanced properly.

Thanks for all the advice will go to the dealer and get them to check all of the above.Sorry not selling.

Just got off the phone with Harley Aus they said a small amount of wobble is acceptable are they full of it?I've ridden dirtbikes since I was 11 years old (now 50 ) and never heard this before, but I'm new to road bikes!

Front end wobble is 90% rear tyre pressure. But front but rear... But check both.

    I reckon that's your problem.

The rear will get sloppy which makes the front wobble fom the neck. Making it feel like the front is wobbling.

    Check and let us know.

Hi all...Ive checked the tyre pressures and headstock on my bike, everything spot on.My bike has done it since new.I just recently put a Progressive RAP shocks in my bike and raised the rear end by 10mm,The wobble is a little worse.

Could different fork oil levels do it as well?

If you can accelerate through it and it smooths out, my money's on wheel balance

Hi all...Just to note...On my bike you dont feel it thru the handle bars while rideing. It only occurs at certain speeds when your hands are off the bars.It doesnt happen immediately after i take my hands off the bars.I bet my left nut its wheel balance.

it can be annoying ( it existed on my heritage at certain speeds ) but once i got up to freeway speed the problem disappeared
