Hey guy,s I got an email from South West Harley-Davidson about a social ride on Sat. 23rd Aug
BBQ starts at 11am & the ride leaves at 12 noon not sure where they will be heading to ill ring them to find out
Anyway ill be leaving Mandurah heading to Bunbury at about 10:30 I finish night shift that morning so need to get a couple of hours camp
If anyone else is keen maybe we can organise a meeting place ( maybe Caltex servo in Erskine )
I'll have a look at this mid week.... flying to Mackay at sparrows fart the following day
gotta love that weekend work eh. It's the first one for me with SWHD all the other rides I've either been at work or it's been pissing with rain
anyway if not this one they have a few rides throughout the year
I should be able to make it TNT, need to talk to Morrow re service and Cam job as well, would like to go a litle earlier, about 10ish so's we can get some brekky as well. Don't wanna test the cops radar

rang Bobtail this morning and decided to join him and TNT... good run down and we behaved ourselves as lots of flourencent vests about
Bumped into Wayne and a mate with a new Rocket C (with NOS)... could also be a few more members from deep south as I did the usual hard sell

Got back about an hour ago clocked up just over 350ks. After you left we all headed to Kirup Hotel awesome ride but don't ask what the scenery was like it was all a blur trying to keep up then from there it was off to Capel for one last stop.Bt & I left the rest there to head back to Mandurah & as on the way down there Wollopers everywhere.
This ride is what makes the forum such a resounding success, met a new member in TNT (Mark) and got together with HO, we then met another 30 odd riders at SWHD. Morrow (Paul Morrissey Prop) put on the snags and at midday we we all headed for the hills, some hard riders amongst the bunch. Karl Rock gave me some spare bits for the green glide so's Tony at SWHD can put the green machine back together.
All in all the day was bloody terrific, the cops were out and a bout, and the roses were in full bloom.
PS The reason HO peeled of to go home was to MOW THE LAWN can ya believe it!!!! a perfect day to ride and the lawn is more important!!!!!!!!!!!!!
