Can any one tell me the differance between part numbers 32109-08A (Black box) and 32109-08B (the new Orange box), the A models are early ones made around 2009ish but do they function the same as the current B models and can the software/firmware be updated to use on current model bikes.

First version was the Black case units. Second and third go around was the orange cased units. The circuitry is different between them and the Black one cannot be used on the 2011 Softail or 2012 Softail and Dyna's.

Thanks mate, I had read on the web that the black ones could be used on everything up to 2011 except the softails, just thought someone here might have a better idea.

now they are saying there is a 32109-08C ................... is that crap or what? Any info ?
