Folks,

I am lost with the oils thread, but i believe Mobil 1V-Twin is better than HD SYN3 from what i am reading, can you educate me on whichs holes this is suitabe in a 2011 sporty.  I have heard all 3 holes but i am thinking engine and gear box, am i missing something?

Sporty has 2 holes, engine and tranny which includes the primary. I switched to Mobil 1 V-twin 2000 kms ago and I'm very happy! Both holes.

so obviously harley doesnt make their own oil?

whos oil do they rebrand?

seen Amsoil mentioned above and had previously found this article so may be of some help to those wanting to make a choice.

have also heard Redline is a very good product but i intend to give the Amsoil a test and see how it goes. if the test this guy did are accurate its a desirable result.
