    im curious,  i was riding home around 11.30pm @ night Saturday from the drags (only about 130km to get home-via bruce hiway).

    Couldnt see shit (had wurths safety glasses-yellow) and then it started to piss down just making things worse.

    What do you wear (eye ware) at night time.

    my headlight is great.

    al, do you where yellow glasses in the car at night? i just wear shades(uglyfish) until it`s too dark, then my normal perscription glasses, wouldn`t yellow make it harder to see the critters coming at you? (((-;

    I've got some of those Wiley-x glasses that go dark in the sun and clear when theres no sun. Only ridden in a bit of rain, but they seem to be ok.

    Thanks for the replies. Bugs were no prob that late at night thank god, but the yellow s/glasses did make oncoming car headlights difficult to see the road. Will try clear / another helmet with visor, although do like the open face.

    Interesting how your visson can be effected on a bike in different conditions.

    like my M8 was showing me safty glass's he has that go dark in light clear in poor light & have sponge like seal around the two lens. he said without them & racing a Nitro burning Harley that burns 97% nitro  the fumes from Nitro make his eyes water up & harder to see, but with the sponge seal solves that problem

    Done a lot of night riding and a fair bit in the rain, but never had rain come down, at, in and up on me before. Had to breath through clenched teeth, bloody stuff was blowing up my nose. From the Gold Coast to Warick with wifey at night and on coming rain, had yellow lens with foam gasket and full face , visor closed, fogged up, cracked open, rain came in and covered lenses blured vision, opened visor to blow off rain, made worse (looking through a water fall), lifted glasses, fuck rain stings the eye balls, could not blink fast enough (slowed 50-60km) (must've pissed off truck drivers and made them laugh at us). On coming... just a mass of blured lights then total blackness for a few seconds (pretty hairy over the gap). Wifey even had rain come in her helment and up her nose and she had kept her visor closed.

    Has anyone tried rain repellent and anti-fog sprays. Seen them for about $8 a bottle. Just wondering if they work ok.

    Yeah I did pull over at a closed servo. 1 to throw some gloves on. 2 to wipe the yellow s/glasses so I could see for a bit. Loved it though don't get me wrong, but I'm going to get some good clears and see how they go. Funny how I was more worried about the wildlife jumping out from the side than not being able to see down the road like day, but I wasn't prepared for rain that night. Jeans and boots are like a sponge in the bath!

    Cricket, where did you get them from. I really like my ugly fish polarized glasses (1yr old now) for riding and driving (all over cq) on yhe day only (brown colour) so I'm keen to buy some for a try.
