hey does anyone know who is a good/cheap company to get insurance with. I done an online quote for a new FXDWG witch is always garaged and i put for only recreation/weekend use and no licence  susspentions in last 5 years and 2 years riding experience an it came to $2500.

is this a joke or is this normal for a harley. i pay $1100 for a xr6 turbo ute full comp insured for $45000 an my current bike a ninja 650 witch i insured on my learners is only $1100 also and thats insured for $14000.

As for the WG i quoted only the bike(no gear coverage) and $1500 mods it only covered me for $22000 market value when the bikes worth $24495 is this just one rip off company (insuremyride.com.au) or is this an average quote for a harley ?

I just renewed with the Harley insurance (Swann), they dropped by $90 without asking, so I paid $469.00 ($28K, probably not enough??)

New England Insurance Brokers (NEIB) can't go wrong with these blokes so far for 5 years.

They also offer handsome discounts for multiple motorcycles which makes my wife happy

Insure my ride wanted the same...They dont wanna insure Harleys!

Check out AAMI... they did much better, and you can adjust your excess to bring down the premium
