Jemma is a bright 14yo girl who started life weighing only 570 grams and 13 weeks premature. She has battled with Cerebral Palsy and endured numerous operations to enable her to walk unassisted.

Having witnessed the amazing feats of handicapped athletes her dream is to become a para-olympian.

Jemma recently represented South Australia in the Australian Athletes with Disability Junior Championships held in Sydney. She returned victorious with 2 Bronze Medals - 1 for 200m and the other for Discus. A great achievement considering she only took up athletics after attending a training camp in July 2011.

Jemma's family struggle to meet the ongoing costs involved with equipment, training, travel, accommodation, etc.
