Anyone else had front brake problems with 2012 ABS bikes ? Took my Super Glide back , and dealer bled front system , felt a lot better , but is coming closer to bar again .

Bike only 3000km old . Lever gets closer to bar over time . After dealer bled system , rock hard with minimal travel . Two weeks on , and the lever is closing in on the bars again . Service manager said I,m not the only one complaining about the front brake .

Thanks Steamer , braided lines will make it better , did that with the "other" bikes , but there is definately something wrong . Before I took bike in for bleed , I could 1 finger the brake and the lever squashed remaining fingers on bar ! Rode bike today and lever is closing in again.

the new black harley brake lines are shit fullstop replace em asap or get a long spring an put over the line to stop expansion like the ol hondas had
i got a good method for bleeding breaks
go to animal produce buy a syringe that small tube fits over i got few horse ones undo top cover on master cylinder an fill with fluid ,,,then put syringe with clear tube over nipple on caliper (not ya missus they get the shits cause the fluid burns em ) undo nipple and draw syringe so it sucks air an fluid out nip up the nipple an empty syringe check level in master cyl an do again
ive never had air in lines doin it this way i done a evo with proportional system few yrs back cunt to fit but worked as good as a motoguzzi setup was off a honda blackbird only thing i not like was when hit rears on gravel the fronts would come on a tad couple piks for yas an yes is got a 42 mikuni on each side the motor youd like this cookie went like a cut snake man an scotty said hi as well

Dealer replacing master cylinder .

Yes , thanks Hmmm , apparently a seal in master cylinder is the problem . 2012 ABS models affected , dealers being told to replace master cylinder.

Had the soft front brake issue on my 2012 Deluxe as well, on my 3 trip back to the dealer they replaced the master cylinder...

All fixed no more soft front brake lever...
