Hi My name is Karl , been reading these forums for a long time even before i bought my harley and definitely like the amount of tech and knowledge going through here , so i decided to say hello.

Currently have a love/hate relationship with a 1984 Softail (shovelution) , trust i picked nostalgia over new tech but something about the old school Evo's gets me .  Currently off the road as i'm fixing up a few problems with the wiring and Rectifier but hopefully , next few weeks it will be back on the road. Till then back on my 250 CBR
Added a few pics of how it looked when i picked it up , looks pretty different now.

Hi Blueey , thanks very much for the welcome. Unfortunately for me when i received the bike the original engine was replaced with a later evo, so i didn't get the shovel barrels. Also me being stupid and youngish , i tampered with things to change the look and comfort  of the bike as i ride it everyday and doubt i'll ever sell the bike , love it way too much. Definitely not to everybody's taste the changes i have made but alot of it reflects me and i'm happy with it , all bar the electrics . Thanks again for the welcome fellas.
