I picked up a Screamin' Eagle® Sportster® Stage I Air Cleaner Kit and it came with oval air cleaner cover aswell for $38 off fleabay.

Today I got my 11 year old son to install it, gave him the instructions, showed him how to use a torque wrench, loctite 243 and then just guided him. He did a good job, I explained different things to him, and told how important it is to do well at school, as i was disappointed in his effort last year, I had to go to the school a number of time to ask them not to let him sit next to his mate. This year they are in different classes thank god.

 

Overall he did a good job, and we went for a nice road test.

 

 

Love it, My kids are always wanting to learn about 'tools', it's a great way to spend time, teaching and tinkering. I learnt many a life lesson in the shed with my old man and Grandpa. My middle boy learnt one of the biggest lessons of his life in the shed, Don't touch! He turned on the table saw (fully guarded with the blade way out of reach for the little fella) but we both shat ourselves when he turned it on. The noise scared the bejesus out of him, and the idea of him with a table saw and no fingers scared the bejsus out of me. I now unplug things, and he doesn't touch.
