I don't get why the new laws, ain't there already laws that say we cant carry machete's, throwing stars and that kind of stuff

    and

when has the laws changed that proceeds of crime was not confiscated? these are nothing new, are the current laws only not policed

I think it is just politics from both sides in a piss up the wall competition.

its veryhard to get the truth out, groups like the UMC are continually blocked , by police and the politicians, from accessing media or from having a right to reply. under the table deals with big media outlets, via politicians and those with this agenda prevent ANY right to reply,so the only way the truth gets out is through smaller media outlets and underground media groups.a typical instance of this was when the UMC presented acheque for 10grand to the Morcombe Foundation , the police made the media turn off the cameras etc and asked tv stations not to broadcast the event.

20 years for assault, what the hell........child molesters and rapists get less time.

They also reported no jury trails.

Just now on Today Tonight they did a story on road rage and guess what was the main content of this story:

A Harley Davidson (need to see the footage again to see if it is a Harley) rider attacking a old man in his car (but you can't see the person in the car).

have a look at the laws. the burden of proof will be"on the balance of probabilities" doing away with"beyond reasonable doubt" youwill not be able to see all evidence against you, only what police deem "non secret". you will not be able to argue evidence deemed "secret".these laws also can bring larger sentences againstclub members and associates. once you change burden of proof and the presumption of innocence you can throw any references to justice out the door, it becomes a kangaroo court with all the legal ethics of a lynch mob. so much for equality under law.

New laws to break bikies' silience

Bikies who refuse to answer questions at Australian Crime Commission coercive hearings face immediate imprisonment.

Legislative amendments introduced in Parliament on Wednesday will see those who refuse to cooperate detained and dealt with in the Supreme Court for contempt - rather than facing a charge that can take up to two years to be dealt with in the lower courts .

Heres another example of incremental intrusion into basic rights. The increasing seepage of anti-terror legislation into mainstream law. Never mind hundreds of years of the evolution of the 'Rule of Law'.
These Star Chamber commissions serve no other purpose other than circumventing the protections of innocents in our Westminster legal system in the name of cornering the guilty....But at what cost ?...
One innocent ?.. two ?... a hundred ? entangled in the courts because of the stripping of human and legal rights to seek advice from a solicitor, face your accuser and their accusations, or choosing to stay silent
and let the court deal as they see fit.
Now we may see prisons full of non criminals, the wings may be chocca with stand-up types who vehemently resist being forced to blab shit, and take this intrusion into their age old rights seriously enough to
engage in dissent........despite the punishment..................... Meanwhile real crooks galavant around town safe from vigorous investigation and star chamber appearances...why ?...because they keep well away
    from their best decoy...the 1%ers !
