Bike starts ok but is a little agresive at times, what I mean when I say agresive is on start up it goes off with a crack sound (out of the exhaust) then idles fine and runs great. I am thinking about increasing the crankng fuel to eliminate this hard start and need some directions on the best way to go about it.

It does this now and then and could be due to ambient temperature!!!

    I am using the SEPST.

    Ozroder,

Maybe its just me being paranoid, its been doing it for a while and some times it starts realy smooth and other times with a crack on fire up.

I have read and was concerned on the compensator coping a hammer and possibly loosening up.

Wildchild the comp is probably bottoming out, if that is what you can hear, Is it more common when the bike is warm? Those models had a pretty weak Compensator Assy, I put the SE one in mine and fixed that issue as far as starting and banging goes. It sounds worse than it actually is, and not a lot of damage is done when it hits bottom. It just sounds like crap. If it is not that then fuel would be the next guess.
