boys ze little pig,  she is broken.   hit the starter and just get a click noise (real dull sort of click though - almost a clunk)   after doing some research it sounds like it may be starter, relay or soleniod related.  i fully charged the battery to make sure that did not change anything.  still the same.

so im about to start working along those lines - relay then soleniod and then starter.   just wanted to check if anyone had a different thought on what it could be.  any help guys is really appreciated.  she is a 93 sporty.

 

 

your on the right track mate, relay,solenoid then starter. also check your battery leads. check earth straps etc.

and get battery checked ya may think its charged an it could be but it needs volts to kick bike over but lights ect all work on amps so before anything get battery checked proper

Yep... similar thing with me also, replaced battery and all good. Keep us posted on the outcome.

I had the same problem in December...it turned out to be the Stata...borrow a battery from someone, and after you start your bike, put a multimetre on it to see if it's charging...
