I should introduce myself.
I live on the Central Coast & recently purchased a new 2012 Fatboy, after 21 years of not riding. My first Harley was a WLA with suicide clutch I brought in 1978, then a couple of Sporsters & my first new bike was 1980 Supergilde, after that 2 softails first a Heritage & then a Springer that I sold in 1990.
They say that you never forget how to ride well I'm living proof that's bullshit, I could not believe how much I had to re-learn !!!!! I’m now starting to get back to a point where I feel I can start to get the best out of this bike, I’m really enjoying being back on a bike, wearing a helmet is new to me, I always had an exemption.
Everyone ride safe

Welcome Alan hope you enjoy the forums and congrats on getting a harley again and for getting back on a bike after 21 years.
Gidday Alan and welcome on board. I left bikes for a few years too and was amazed at how 'rusty' I'd become. Too wide in the corners, braking too early before corners... Ya don't forget how ta ride, but jeez the co-ordination takes a holiday!
G'day Alan, from another new member here
Doesn't it feel good to have your knees in the breeze again.
Ahhhh, I remember the 'no helmet' days. When we felt really free. Then I moved from NSW to Victoria in '76 and had to wear one and have ever since.
G'day Alan54, nice intro, ride safe.
Welcome
Nice, but on here you'll get flamed for those reflectors ...
Welcome Alan....
