Spotted this auction today whilst hunting round eBay (always looking for a bargain) and am curious...............am I missing something? I'm reasonably new to the HD scene, my Iron is the first one (definitely not the last) i've owned. I dont understand why it would be worth $20k?

Thoughts?
I guess it is virtually unused and a limited edition... and the seller is the eternal optimist!

$20K? I can't see it; not for someone who knows a bit about Harleys. Umm, it was ridden 89km from the Dealer to home and no further. It's a limited edition. All extra bits remain untouched in boxes... did the Seller buy it with the intention of selling at a profit? There's a few spelling mistakes too so maybe his counting is off as well?
What would Darryl (The Castle) say? Should we tell him he's dreamin'?
2007 50th Anniversary Harley Dividson sportster with only 84km's.
This is a 50th anniversary sportster that has less then 100km's & is in immaculate condition. It was ridden from the bike shop to home & parked. There were only 2000 of these models made & all that were made were ordered & sold before arriving on the show room floors. This best suits a person who missed out & was looking for this particular model. The bike has un-used extras still in the box that are included in the sale of the bike. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Serious enqiries only. TIME WASTERS WILL NOT BE ANSWERED TOO!
As far as I recall was around $17,500 + on roads new.
If it was meant as an investment, even if they got the $20k, would have made near twice as much with a basic term deposit. What they want is new price plus inflation pretty much
I guess since this time, cosmetically at least, sportsters have gone in a different direction. Looking forward to the next five years of evolution.
