    Any good?

I am wondering if I should stop mucking around and just get a big Ultima donk, and replace my 103 HD engine.

    I would appreciate any thoughts.

I am looking for brute power, but long lasting engine.

Has any one heard about the Ultima engnines and what they are like?

I heard they are not as powerful as they are supposed to be.

I have only heard that they arn't that crash hot, but that is only weekend talk. Do you want more power than an SS124? how much do you want? You would have to change a lot of your bike to cope with the increased HP eg: belt to chain drive? depending on how you are going to ride it. What about the 147cube Renegade engine? if you want big, dont know much about that but im sure someone on this site will have an opinion.

Either buy an S&S complete, then pull it apart and blueprint it,or by an S&S unassembled, then have it assembled here and you will have a long term engine,New S&S engines assembled overseas, are not assembled with the same care and precision that they used to be,hence the blueprinting.Still a long way better than Taiwanese crap.
