Sounds about right. My normal average cyl head temp dropped around 20deg on my dakota digital gauge after I fitted mine, riding the usual 30km ride to work.
I left the heavy stick on decorative cover off mine though.

For those using the Jagg oil cooler with the adapter, it pays to check the tightness of the adapter each time you take off your filters. not the 3 Allen Cap srews that hold the outer part but the inner part that is held on by the nut. The part that mates to the oil filter housing on the motor. They have a habit of coming loose after a while.

Thinkin bout one meself. Any comparison to the horseshoe shaped coolers that fit and match the top part of the downtubes. There's one for sale at the local bike shop, look good, but would it be just as effective?

Philthy I think there is not much difference between them all. They all do the job. I own a Jagg 6 line cooler than mounts below the regulator, along with the adapter with built in thermostat. My thoughts on position was why I bought the low down one. I didn't like the look of the one that mounts on the frame to the out side. I have seen the ones that mount on the frame tubes, at first I thought Hmmm but they actually don't look that bad. In the end I think the fact that they do lower the temps is the most important thing. Aesthetics is the owners responsibility.
