Just got back from the vets, my rotti who I've had since she's been a pup has a bone tumor. Tomorrow she's having the injection, it's sad to lose a friend i've had after 9 years in fact she's the only thing left from my divorce. A few rums will be drunk for sure.
Been there and done that. Not good. In fact it sux big time.
Think of of all the happiness and unquestionable loyalty she gave.
We all know its the best thing to do. (If only we humans were allowed the same choice)
I'm thinking of ya mate.
was very lucky that one of my two Jack Rusell's just lay down and died...
nuthin worse than having the needle although we all know it is always because we care
feel for ya mate... thoughts are with you for tomorrow
Feeling ya pain too M8, having a Rum I your honor now.
An old cocky mate of mine use to say, ya should never keep the collar off a dog that had to be put down,
bad Joo Joo & the new mutt can sense the old dog. Never put much thought into it myself. Anyone else ???
Will be thinking of ya tomorrow
With Respect
hope everything went smoothly today mate....
Me and Kellie have just shed a tear for you. We love our dogs and know what its like.
As you said, she's now pain free.
Get the collar and a good photo of the girl framed as a reminder.
Sorry to hear about the loss. I had to put both my black labs down a few years ago. (2 yrs apart) Personally I feel nothing hurts more than puttin them down... then again it hurts us but releaves them of pain.
I like the idea Magilla had.
