I need to borrow/obtain some std exhausts for my 2003 vrod to get it through inspection as apparently it is a tad loud to meet the SA requirements. Can anyone assit me in the southern suburbs of Adealide? It was recently imported from OS into another state and has that info with it - just want to get it on the road..Cheers

Welcome gmac, Have you tried going to a bike shops and buying a set? The original pipes are worth keeping as you never will know when the boys in blue will defect your bike

u should defenatly buy a set because as softy j said its comes in handy to hav a stock set aswell because all it takes is one pissed off neighbor to report u an u will need to change it back to get passed anyway. happend to me with my ute :(

Jeez gmac, you ride a VRod AND you're a crowie?! I'm having difficulty warming to ya...

Sorry I can't help on the pipes Mate, but my Importer threw on a set of his own pipes to get mine through compliance. That being the case, maybe you can borrow/rent a set of pipes from a HD place? As others mention, buying a set makes good sense but for here and now it's gotta be worth asking around the shops too.
