hi people , just a quick question if you dont mind, iam about to change my engine oil , sorry got to far ahead there for a second.

had a 103 kit hi comp pistons& 211 cams installed over xmas goes pretty hard but pops on decel to much for my liking, got told this was the way

it was bigger cams longer duration an all.put on the dyno 3 times still the same.

they said they would do a complemetary oil change included inthe price, like fuck they did.

i checked it a couple days later and it was as black as the ace of spades.

anyway i have the rouge oil scavenger kit so going to do an oil change myself this week end.

my question is how long should i turn the motor over for while iam perging the oil, i understand

that when you see clean oil come out ,but what about time wise 10..15..20..30..seconds?

i intend on using redline 20w60 or mobil1vtwin.

    help would be appriciated.....

Personally I recommend - "NEW HONEY COLOURED STUFF"

I change mine religiously at every 10th tank of juice.

Jocky, I use a home made oil "puck" and usually find that 1 litre of oil flushed will clear the majority of the dirty oil out. Also makes it easy to measure how much your puttin in to replace the old stuff.

Could'nt give you an exact time it takes.........just pump thru 1 litre and shut it down!
