mine came loose ,one nut was completely gone ,will be checking at regular intervals from now on

my bike has done 15000k's (about not 100% as speedo keeps dieing and stops counting). and yeah i found one near the belt and the other must be somewhere on the road, couldn't figure out what the ringing noise was =P. 

Loctite and beer are a harleys best mate. Mine did the same 12 mths ago.

When I went to the stealers (just down from work) the parts jockey said some of the new nuts cum with loctite on them.

I put my finger on her and found out she was lose....thanks for the tip, turned out it had an adams apple too....
