Buy a workshop manual, a multimeter, and a compression tester its time to start learning, you will be able to teach yourselfand save a fortune and when you get stuck you will be able to ask the correct questions.

For now see if you have power going to the coil, if you have, swap coils with a known good one, if you had a manual and multimeter you could check the resistance on your coil to see if it was rooted.

Sorry if i come across as a smart ass, but if you own a bike you should put in some effort to learn.

older bike model,   these ign system's do not last for ever if the ign system is over 4 to 6 yrs old then it will be more then likely that ,    put a crane hi-4 single fire in her   there cheap these day's

the ultimas easy as shit to wire got three wires to coil an one to voes an thasts it unless ya got tacho an thers one wire for that should only take a hour even if ya not done one before just remember where your adjustment was down in the nose cone also gets rid of the black module box so no more under seat or side cover ect with standard shit if ya dont got the bucks for new ignition give me a yell most prob got a coil an standard module here you can have to get ya by till ya get the better setup

yes years ogo  the crane H1-4  could fail . but these days are made better i found that if you use a domed points cover as so it 's not resting on the module box  & give & air gap  you will not have a come back,    i havn't  had 1 in 7 + yrs , the 1's that have failed can tell the cover gasket has the imprint of the module on it because  flat type points cover ,  it's been rubbing when you do up the cover screws ,   i'am not a fan of asian parts rev-teck etc  on american bike's  but if there cheap & work
