Well after 302 bikes it had to happen, some filthy c...t knocked my 2012 streetglide over and did not hang around to at least help pick it up. Local dealer had a walk around "guestimate" at 5k for the repair. Will update you how good my insurer is. Need a beer or ten....!

$5000 at a guess... fuck, that seems a bit much for just knocked over. But than again they are expensive toys. Post up some pictures of before and after. Good luck with your insurer and the repairs and put faith in Karam, the dog will get theirs.

I feel your pain, not too long ago I was trading in my GSXR on a car (changed jobs), anyway the day before I traded it, the wife and I took one last ride on it to Parramatta. We were planning on doing dinner on Church st (always park out the front of where we sit), but stopped at Westfields for about 25mins to pick up a few odds and sods. Left the bike tucked away in a corner where no one could get near it, was walking back to my bike.................thought, someone's moved my mirrors..............what the fuck? Got a little closer and realised that some C.U.N.T had knocked it over, scratched the fairing, exhaust and a few other parts..........................Could not fucking believe it!! Still to this day I see red every single time I think about it, why the fuck do people think it is okay to sit, touch, even brush past someone elses bike!

Cut a very long painful story short, bike was sold the following day for the agreed amount; spent the entire night with a black texter, polish and a rag trying desperately to clean up the fucked areas only to realise the blokes at Mazda in Penrith couldn't have cared less and then spent the next week thrashing around on it before they passed it onto Western Motorcycles. The bike sold with them a week or so later for $14k~

UPDATE A big thanks to those that replied and ease the pain of a brand new bike being knocked over. This happened last Sat 4th Feb. The bike was ridden down to local Harley boys and a "guestimate" quote of $5000 on a 10 min walkround . I contacted the insurance company on Sat afternoon on their 24hr helpline and was contacted by a claims person within 10 minutes of the nominated time on Monday. I took the bike to Harley on Wed who quoted it up by Thursday morning ($3700)and faxed of to the insurer during the day. On Friday by 9 am i had the confirmation of the repair being covered by insurance. Thanks again to all of you that took the time to share the pain we feel when things beyond our control damage our toys!!

Yes this is indeed the 303rd! You name it i have had it and in some cases multiples of the same model. This is my first Harley after riding from vegas to sturgis and then around USA on an ultra then 6 mths ago around Canada also on an ultra got the bug and bought my street glide.
