Cant understand why the FXDL doesnt have grease nipples in the steering head and some other models have them, is it an easy install or worthwhile going to the trouble of doing it, this may have been covered before but I would like to hear from those that have actually done it and where the nipples have been installed, I would like to try and keep the head bearings lubed up.

Begs the question, "why doesn't the FXDL have a grease nipple in the first place, when others do?" Is it about cost saving at the production line or passing the cost of repacking to the customer, both I suspect?
