Bikes I'm looking at is a 2010 FLHR Road King. There are two , very similar, colour, engine, klms, etc. One is basic and standard, the other has as extra's, 1. Braided brake hoses and cables, 2. Detachable sissy bar, 3. Sreamin Eagle pipes, 4. High flow air filter kit, 5. Sreamin Eagle race tuner.   Ok gentleman, if I could get some wordly advice. If it were you, what would you pay for the bike with the extra's over the standard bike. Both bikes are '5HD' compliance. Thanks.

Private or through a dealer? The dealers would have you believe the extras are worthless at trade in. I reckon maybe $1000 to $1500 more. Depends on how motivated the sellers are. Check out below

Chopaweeza, was that 11k on ebay, us or au dollars for the 09 RK?  And do you know of any other fee's and charger's on the purchase of the bike he'd have to pay before the bike got to port for importing !

Bling is only worth anything if it is exactly how you would do it yourself.

The bike listed at 30k+ has had a crapload spent on it including custom tins, a chrome dipping and a 103 but he is asking "ride away on a brand new bike" money.

There have been some very nice examples listed in the for sale section here. I would have a look through that to see whats been offered for the money.

I bought my one anda half monts ago from the dealer, 2011, 103 with 100k on the clock (hd bought it to WA for the HOG bash in Margaret River? It was priced at $26995.i ordered 6k worth of accessories and shit to put on it. Through some healthy chat and pointing out their fuck ups on my parts quote, they dropped the price to $25500. There is deals to be had. There was another FLHR on the floor also exHD (demo) with 800k on the odo fr 26990. Although they are 2011 stock,it is no different. Why pay the full weight if you o not have to?
