I went from 2 R1's to a GSXR600 and a CBR900RR, to a 2012 Dyna Street bob.... I have no regrets, but it handles like shit in comparison to my previous bikes.

no harley handles from stock ya gotta spend the bucks again same as to get em goin an to fix em after 50k lol ive had rigids soft tails normal swing type fuck i even had a mono shock rear i made with an evo it handled but had to spend the bucks just think as ya new bike is mmmmm na hang on buy the most basic cheapest bike ya like an then customise of change wat ya need but please dont get vance an shit pipes lol blokes here can sort ya with maps ect if ya gunna go injected but have a think about an earlier carb model most have had the work done eg;; cams ect ect then just paint it to wat ya want an ride it like ya stole it

As for deciding what Harley you get, you will have to wait till you get your full license, then go and test ride every model available then you will be able to decide, everyone will give the drum on what is better but your decision is the deciding factor.  

Or you can move to the ACT, apparently you can ride any size Harley you want down there.
