I was doing an oil change and when I put the gear box filler plug back in I got fresh oil over the back of my hand. WTF. The hose from the oil tank to the oil tank drain had cracked, perished, failed. It was brittle and looked like it was made from recycled tyres and old poly pipe. The new HD hose is $9 and had to be ordered, so I got some awsome rubber high temp hose, but in HD tradition one end is different size to the other F$%^en end. The tank outlet is 10 mm and the drain connection is about 16mm. Whay the F$%K are the connection points different. Ahhh F@#k here we go again.
Just wanna give general heads up to check the line from tank to drain. Failure has many bad endings. I only got 19 049 on clock and scoot usually lives inside.
