Hi all. Bit of anovice at this. Restoring a 93 1200 sportster back to road worthy condition. Original speedo was replaced by previous owner with a different speedo without all the wiring. Only has cable and light.Indicators all come on but do not flash. Was told speedo is most likely the cause of this fault. Is it possible to install a flasher unit that will get the indicators to flash, manually turning off is fine, or any other reasonable fix. Only speedo I could source as replacement was $300 plus from the states. It was off a euro FXR police special or something like that. Was unsure of outlaying that much, when unsure of its suitability re- wiring etc.Any thoughts appreciated.

Thanks hmmm. Yeah original flasher unit is still installed but severed speedo wires are hard to retrace where they were terminated. Might have to unwrap a lot of black electrical tape.Any suggestions on wreckers. Not much up here in North Queensland.

 hi you can buy a badlands module that will flash for 14 sec's & turn off auto  about 150 bucks, 

are they stock type blinker's or the small marker light's  ?

Hey thanks guys.Yeah they are the mini indicators. I am going to chase up some stock indicators and see if this will ease my pain. Happy the speedo is not as much of a problem as I thought. As long as they flash, I don't mind turning them off myself. Once again many thanks to all.

run a wire from ignition to flasher then a wire that splits and a wire each to left ind switch an same to right switch then wire outta switch to front an rear indicators both sides job done if ya got on off switches on bars
