Hi boys,

Always thought I would put a springer on my sporty, but it looks like its too big a job, $$$ and time. Im thinking I will end up doing a roller in the next year or so, so Im not going to go too much further. However....I like the wide glide, and its not too silly on the dollars. I have found a kit, buts it zero degree rake. What difference will this make? There is another one that has 4 degree rake, but I pref the zero rake kit, its already black, and comes with everything...

Any feedback or advice would be great.

I think its the same one...black then grooved. Are you happy with that one? I just dont really know much about rake, and the effect it will have. I dont want to end up having to change anything else..

Bunyip, have a read of this mate, want to do the same thing to mine. I would like to rake the front end by 5degrees

There's probably a heap of better sites out there (that aren't flogging products) but this will get you started.

I was looking at the stuff on the VPW website, Walka's got a few different variatoins of triple trees, but not sure whether they're 39mm or 41mm

Ive nearly got the front blacked out, and thought the wide glide would be a nice touch...then start headlight shopping. Its a bloody money pit!!
