    Tri Bar Tail light problem

Please be aware that the Tri Bar Street Glide upgrade light is not a plug and play option for 2012 model. All the fittings are the same but once you plug it in you have no tail lights or indicators but the new light does work. You need to get a wiring diagrame and re-do the wiring to get it to work

Yes a genuine HD part bought from local dealer who got it direct from HD Aust. Dealer is aware having done one before for a 2011 street glide. Makes it a expensive light at $150 plus 2hrs at $90 per hour labour to rewire. Just a warning to anyone else contemplating doing the swap.

Tri Bar now installed at $90 cost looks good and provides extra visability for moron tailgaters.
