    Roadkingdan,

What state are you in old mate?
If your in WA, Amsoil is hard to get as there is only one distributor (last time I inquired a couple of years ago), I found it difficult to purchase Amsoil as the distributor didnt know when they were receiving the next shipment, got to the stage were I couldnt wait any longer so I went for the Mobil V-twin 20W-50, which is readily available.
If you care to read "A Study of Motorcycle Oils" (just google it) you will find that the Mobil v-twin fairs OK, the Amsoil tops the class but nothing to write home about. I should mention that Amsoil conducted the test of some 17 well known branded oils, it is a good read.

i use Penrite enduro grade 25/65 W esp made for big air cooled bike's like  harley / ducati etc, as the 20/50 is too weak for our summer's  look in the factory manual on lube spec on temp  esp on  a donk that's  done a few klms , + it's very well price  enough too change her reg & keep it clean ,          i use good oil filter's & change the oil 2 time's too 1 filter @ about 2500 klms or so just do not let it get dirty , do  a hot oil dump on the 20/50 on a hot day & it will run out like hot water, good cold not hot
