Hi all im adam new to the harley world and loving it brought my first 86 softail custom a few months back been adding bits and peices. now im looking at putting a revtech into it any reports on these engines would be great im thinking of 100ci or maybe the 125ci but have heard a lot of mixed reports on these motors. on the othere hand was also thinking of rebuilding my 80ci evo and puting a small cam in it. any commonets on this would me great. here is a pic of my pride and joy
the evo is a little tired noticed slight oil leak at the bottom of the rear barrel not real sure to just do a top end or will i need to do the whole motor ?
reebuild yours. revteks are trouble!

hey steve can u post a large pic of your softail up on here so i can see the spoked rear rim. im still undecided on mine to do or not to do. cheers

Gidday Adam; I've got an Evo and I'm happy with it. In fact pretty much everyone speaks highly of Evo motors being strong and reliable so maybe it's worth fixing yours. Ya wouldn't sell ya car if it had a flat, would ya?
